More of M & J

The area around the court house lent for some awesome backdrops.. Plus it was a wonderful overcast day.. I didn't want to keep the newlyweds to long so i think we only spent about 10mins shooting, but managed to get some pretty gorgeous shots.. I have had a busy weekend of editing this shoot. I think i re-edited 2 or 3 times... Here are some of my favorites..

 

M & J- The Ceremony

A girl from Corey's work had a small marriage ceremony at a local courthouse this past Wednesday. She wasn't going to have a photographer at all, but i think her mom really wanted her to have some pictures done. It was just the bride and groom, and i felt very privileged to share their special day with them.. The room that the ceremony was in was super tiny and the only light was crappy florescent light.. I think under the conditions i got some pretty great shots for them.. Congrats to M & J, i hope you have a long and happy life together! **More to come from after the ceremony**

Fall!!!!

 I LOVE FALL COLORS!!! I have been dying to go out and get some shots with the beautiful fall colors. I took my kids on monday to the base lake in hopes to get some awesome christmas card pics. Well i didnt get my prefect awesome shot, but i got some good ones with some pretty background colors.. Hopefully in the next few weeks i will get to do some sessions with some other familys!

Disappointment.

I hate when i come away from a photo shoot feeling disappointed. And today i did. I'm just glad it was with my kids and not someone else's. Logan wanted NOTHING to do with the camera. I don't think i got but 2 shots of him looking at me. Hannah did pretty good today, as long as we only stayed in one spot for a short time. I did manage to get a few shots, I'm satisfied with... Heres the ones that turned out okay!

Sweet Hannah

This girl is just too much! She is harder to get a good shot of than her 18month old brother. But i managed, to get some pretty great ones today. Is was overcast again today, and i really wanted to get some shots of her. So i bribed her with candy, haha.. It worked!!!

Overcast!

I LOVE overcast days, well for photography anyway.. I can go out at any time of day and not worry about harsh lighting causing very unflattering shadows on faces. So i took out Logan to get some shots of him. Well he is just so over the camera, and will not sit still or even look at it. I'm not overly happy with these shots, mainly the lack of catch lights in his eyes that make them look so dull. But its okay, it was fun getting some practice in, and hes just cute to look at, haha... I also got to try some new collages out!
